Worked hard and long on this one. Weird how you can imagine a picture and then end up with a totally different result than what you were aiming for!

Praise: I love the vintage cameo pose you have her in and using the flowers to frame her in is excellent. You chose a lot of very rich and diverse colors, but you were able to blance them very well! The proportions of her face are very good and the detail in her hair is excellent.

Critique: As some others have pointed out, the majority of colors in the peice are mid-tones and adding some more highligts and dark shadows would definately give it some more 'pop' The highlight on the tip of her nose is a good example of this. The flower in her hair is also looking a bit flat, adding a shadow beneath it would help seperate it from her hair a bit.

A great peice!!!

This is a really pretty piece at first glance! However, there are a few things that could be fixed.

The hair is great, but it needs some more definition, I think. I do like how it extends past the end of her back.

I like how you use the flowers as a 'border' type thing to end her back. They don't have much shading, though.

The shading isn't very well defined. Most notable, on her forehead, right under her bangs. A couple other places are right under her bun and the flower there, and right next to her curls.

I do like the background, much more interesting than a transparent one
